I came across that a few years ago but never really forgot about it. It's nothing special; the story goes that Climax USA (the ones originally working on Origins on PSP) was to also work on a PS3 game. However, Konami decided to shift development of Origins over to Climax UK, so I guess this project also went with it and got moved over to Double Helix.
Yes, that is Travis' model but I really doubt he would've actually been in the final game, at least not as the main character. It's just a tech demo made to show concepts and whatnot. Still, it looks cool I guess. Screens and a video located in the link.
I always like to see this old beta/pre release stuff for whatever reason, and I'd never seen most of the screenshots in that link before. I'll admit it doesn't look too interesting from the screenshots and footage available but it was just a demo, we'll never know how the full game would have turned out. One thing that's interesting is that it was being developed using Unreal 3 and has a similar camera to the recent RE games, both of which were later used in Downpour.
