Central Heterochromia

According to several sources, Walter Sullivan's eye color is listed as Central Heterochromia. I find that oddly specific, too specific to be inconsequential.

My initial trigger reaction was chimerism, also considering the way he had the twin victims manifest in his Otherworld.

Any ideas?

Are you referring to the amount of "fusion" and/or "attachment" there is as far as symbolism in the game?

I'm wondering about if there's a storyline reason to Walter's central heterochromia, or if it was just a thing they did cause it looks cool or whatever.

My trigger reaction that I mentioned would be related to storyline; Did Walter absorb a fraternal twin in the womb, and that would be the reason for that specific design choice in him? And is it also why the twin victims appear the way they do? As if they've absorbed each other?
