I think that all the emotions in Henry are really repressed, and he just let them go out when he gets killed by a monster... actually, we should give him an award of "The Most Dramatic Death in Silent Hill during the game".

Lmao, I always loved Henry's death scream.

"..,....AhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........."

Even falling to his knees in slow motion.

Hahaha, and then he just falls face-forward into the ground.

I think my favorite aspect of his death is that he does this whole dramatic thing regardless of what actually killed him. I mean, a wheelchair could bump into him one too many times and then he'd be playing that whole thing out. It's really comical.

I think a SH Death Animation Ranking thread is in order here.

Lmao @ how Henry does the same animation regardless of what kills him. Also how the enemies just sit there and watch him, as if they're like "...Dude, hurry up. This is awkward."

I think you uncovered a conspiracy here, devil hunter. Harry wasn't kidnapped though. Most probably Harry was an alien researcher too and Cheryl was abducted and impregnated, then somehow escaped with psychic powers and manifested herself in Silent Hill. It all was a huge experiment. Harry was her watcher, so he had to go after her or face the most extreme punishment. If I was him I'd rather risk dying in SH, rather than getting punished by the alien officials. Better risk than face a certain death... But how could he have known that SH is even more complicated than what he was taught?

That's probably why Harry and Henry have the same remark "What the hell?". It was their squad's code phrase when on earth. This phrase actually triggers signals to the spaceships in case something is too hard to figure out. Well, if they want the mission to be accomplished they've got to send some help. What can I say?

I'm also convinced that's the Triforce in my siggy, in the back there (ignore there not being color). So yeah, more proof the aliens are real and have taken over. Including Henry.

As well as Hyrule. :P

I don't get why a lot of people hate Henry
He's supposed to be different , everything about him proves that he's suffering with severe depression. The way he abserves others just show that he socially insulated himself which explains his akward behaviors with others around him. That's why the game starts with a narrator unlike other characters in the game this was meant to make the characters distant from Henry , we are supposed to know more about him based on clues from the game itself like how his closet is empty or he sleeps with lights on etc...

He's not boring he's just different :)

I'm pretty sure I've already made a death animation thread, but I think a ranking is the next logical step! But then, I'd have to include the many ways Heather and Alex can die as well. (Sewer and Alex's madness in sticking his arms into places he shouldn't!)
But it's pretty obvious Henry trumps all of them. With original Harry Mason coming a close second.

Actually, the person at the beginning of the game is not Henry, it's Joseph.

Henry is a shut in simply as that, while he may not really shows many emotions i think the whole incident mad changed Henry a lot whe i see him bringing flowers to Eileen.

Still is quite ironic that him being a photographer (He probably see lots of expressions) he is quite the Stoic man.
