Yep, it was actually confirmed that Walter was possessed by Valtiel after that Valtiel Sect priest started mentoring Walter on the 21 Sacraments. Which is ironic because that priest was killed by Valtiel possessed Walter in the 21 Sacraments. I cant remember that priests name, but he was one of the Ten Hearts victims.

Ah, I see. Did Walter exhibit his powers before or after he was possessed as a child? It was said and implied that Walter's abilities were on par with or even exceeded Alessa's abilities.

And yeah, Valtiel seems all about the god/holy mother being born. Despite the fact that he never tried to harm Heather in SH3 and would actually rebirth her if she died, his role was to ensure that the god was born, hence him stalking her all over the place.

He got those after he was possessed. I don't believe he was born with them like Alessa did. So, those stemmed from Valtiel himself as well. Since, he'd kind of need a "helping hand" with half of that stuff

Man, for all the bashing people have done on SH4 (I'm also guilty of this), it sure did have an awesome story. I actually liked everything about the game besides most of the actual gameplay mechanics (weird, unsightly wonky camera, awkward combat -- somehow more awkward than normal, escort mission, etc.)

Well thanks to henry"s dumba$$ wally didn't succeed lol. Just joking but yeah Valtiel is the one responsible for walter survivng death he never hurt heather due to the fact that she was carrying god within her. Let alone was the only one that could actually give birth to the "God". Thats why Valtiel in a sense kept spinning the wheel making her get reborn again until she served her purpose (giving birth to a demon) yeah i know it sounds like that rosemary's baby movie lol. Thats the easy way to get the "God" to be reborn, the harder way is through rituals like the 21 sacrements I'm pretty sure there are much much more rituals to this. Although in the long run walter was indeed much more powerful then alessa since she could only chang the physical world out of nowhere but walter he could do it because he wanted it to Sh4's story is just simply an amazing story if you know the back story lol. I really want to see the after math of james (sh2) and henry (sh4) that would make my day very very interesting.

But didn't Claudia consume the fetus and then birth the god? How else did the god get there?

That "thing" claudia birthed wasn't the god that heather was suppose to give birth too.

I think I see what you mean. It wasn't the exact same thing Heather was supposed to birth. I wonder what the god would've looked like had Heather actually birthed it. Too bad the extra fourth ending doesn't show it.

EXACTLY Naroon, They said Alessa had these abilities that were supernatural and this was needed by the order to birth god her powers or whatever could actuall nurture it. Claudia was just a normal human being who couldn't birth a thing needing power she didn't have. I think though that had heather given birth to this thing it would have taken the powers that heather was naturally being born with possibly even ending her wheel of rebirth. Although I think Valtiel was going to do that anyways if the birth was successful which it wasn't. WAIT! does that mean heather will keep getting reincarnated? Dang sucks to suck
