Did anybody notice that when Heather screamed at Douglas to get out, he said he was going, then we cut to the next scene, and he's there with Heather and Harry's body?
In what scene did Heather change her mind? I always thought I was missing something, but playing through recently I know I didn't. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Well, I'm not sure how to explain it. I'll try. :sweatdrop:

So Heather tells Douglas to leave.
Then Douglas says,
"If it'll make you feel better, I will."
The camera then cuts to Heather. It just looks like she's changing her mind. She has gone quiet and crosses her arms, like she's not sure what to do.
You then assume that she changed her mind off-screen.

Sounds about right, but I can't accept that. XD
I demand to talk to Konami and ask why they never explained this!

Heather: Get OUT!
Douglas: You don't want me to leave. ooOOoOoOOooOoOoo
Heather: That's...right. I don't want you to leave...
Douglas: ^________^

Jedi mind trick, that makes much more sense, haha.

Maybe Douglas is a creepy stalker who stayed even after she told him to leave.

I always figured Heather crossing her arms was a signal for Douglas to stay. She's a defiant teenager after all and crossing her arms like that sort of says "Fine stay, I don't care." Besides, I don't think Douglas would have left Heather all alone with her father's corpse even if she did want him to leave.

I questioned it at first but I think once Heather had calmed down Douglas may of come back or Heather called him back realizing she need help so he help. That's what I think.

This is what I think. I never really gave this scene that much mind, it never really left me in a loop or anything.

She was in shock because her pops just died. It was an emotional outburst, then she changed her mind.

Well, I guess no adult would walk in on such a situation and just leave Heather by herself. Besides, Heather was probably just in shock and took her anger out on him as others have said, and then changed her mind off-screen.

Yeah, I always took notice of this. Like others mentioned, I just figured she let him back in once she cooled off and he never went anywhere.
