The things that creeped you out. [Spoilers possible]

I got really creeped out when I saw Pyramid Head for the first time. And when we get into the town and we saw the monster's shadow in the street... Then I got very scary when we get the flashlight. My bro even jumped in the chair... he was scared to death. The hallway scene where you need to run with Maria was horrible too... me and my girl were like "RUUUUNNNN!!!" Oh and I always get creeped out in the hospital because of nurses...

The first time I saw the Pyramid Head vs Mannequins scene creeped me out!

And I found the walk down the forest path very creepy, I got all paranoid because I "knew" something would attack me from behind @.@

What Eileen said: When James is done lamenting Mary, and you take the path to the graveyard before you meet Angela, the sounds coming from the trails. It sounds like dogs running and stuff, or dogs barking--dogs scare me so. xD

And Pyramid Head creeps me out in general.

Silent Hill 2 for me the first time was scary! The apartment buildings, where pretty bad. But what really made it a living hell was the hospital. The first thing that spooked me was on the first floor. Ok, so you know where the door is that leads to the stairs, well just a little back those yellow double doors....Those doors or that room on the other side was breathing!!!!! The hospital sucked, but it was fun!!

The scariest part for me is in the prison, in the hallways that connect the east and west halves. There's these thudding, dragging, heavy footsteps, and this really low voice. I think the radio even goes off there, but there's no monster. I keep telling myself that every time I go through, but it just scares the hell out of me. The way SH games play with sound effects definitely makes things freakier.

There is a invisible monster within the cells that's making that voice. You can kill it.

The 'breathing hallways' you hear sometimes.

Where you have to deposit ALL your items to get into the elevator. I was nervous treading without a weapon. Got even worse when I saw a Mannequin X.x

I couldn't agree with you more. I've only beatin the game on normal I'm not looking forward to getting rid of weapons on hard.

Call me dense but when I first played the game through I thought PH was just killing the monsters not raping them. Boy was I surprised when I discovered the truth.

well, nobody mentions this anywhere but for me one of the biggest scares happens when James is walking after the cemetery, in some angles those dark plants/bushes along the path seem like hands reaching upwards.

i froze, the first time i saw them because i really didn't expect that

The worst thing ever though was when I already played Silent Hill 2 for the like... 7th or 8th time. In the prison men's bathroom when you examine one of the bathroom stalls (I think) you hear somebody screaming. I totally did NOT expect that since I already beat the game several times and thought I knew what's going on...
I NEVER left a room that fast in this game. I'm surprised I didn't hysterically try to go through the wall.

The prison and jumping down all them holes u were going so deep underground it felt very uncomfortable still love that area tho !
