Firstly, I have to admit I'm only calling it "Let's Camhack..." to fit into the series of videos I'm doing starting with my SH2 videos. No actual camhacks were used here, but I did use some codes and the self view to get a better view of some things and to get to/see places you normally can't (next videos will include Harry running over one of the chasms into other parts of town, among other things) so that's good enough IMO. Also ripped textures and references.
Into alternate Midwich. Next one will have boss fight. I managed to lure the lizard thing totally off the platform so he's walking on thin air, and then Harry hangs out in the part with the flaming body for a while and shoots it with the hyper blaster.
I really enjoy the quotes and excerpts you include in these playthroughs nur_ein_tier. It's always fun to learn things in this manner ... at least for me. Watching these videos I keep thinking how fantastic it would be if there ever was a quality remake of this game .....
This game .... it completely changed my outlook on video games. RE never had the effect on me that this game did ....
Thanks, yeah, I finally dug out some old magazines and looked for quotes. There's a lot of repetition of the same stuff from Toyama though (everything was probably translated and magazines had all the same quotes is my guess). I have a few more for the next vid.
I have the next one pretty much edited (to the end of the hospital) but I might need to run to the grocery store before I finish that stuff up.
Up to where Dahlia gives Harry the antique shop key and he leaves the hospital.
Yeah, it has been great fun for me. I just had to do the baby ghost glitch, too, but it took me a while to remember waht the hell to do. XD It's been so long. I managed to play through the whole thing, it gets crazy at the end too because the end boss falls through the floor and the lightning bolts shoot upwards at Harry.
And I fucking hate those transparents black ghost children things that show up at the end of nowhere, always kicking my ass and I never see them until too late. XD Same with the similar shasow-like enemies in the sanitarium in Origins, was not pleased to see a similar thing come back.
I was surprised at how well I remembered the layout of Nowhere, though; I was able to run through that pretty quickly. 2 or 3 more videos, not sure.
