SH1 ePSXe Screens; Hi-Res + AA + FS Filter + Post-process fx

Post by Naroon on Fri Oct 14, 2011 12:48 pm

I took these a while ago, but I was messing around with my emulator and made Tekken 3 look awesome with some custom effects. Anti-aliasing, a full-screen smoothing filter, higher-res native rendering, bloom, etc. I booted up SH1 just to play it and decided to take as few screens.

Sweet to say the least - what about if you could post a video of the actual gameplay while in this High-res - would love to see what it looks like during play

I'll make a vid and post it later. ;)

I'll record at native res and render the video at 1280x720 for youtube, but it'll retain it's original 4:3 aspect ratio.

Looks great. I'm gonna have to try this, if I can stand playing the original on keyboard.

The graphics look really smooth, but the text looks kind of blotchy as a result. I wonder if there's a way to enhance the textures and maybe apply some blur without effecting the text.
ya fuckin rite

I dunno about the text, chances are it was considered some 3d-style text and it'd be affected like everything else was. I might try some different shader effects the next time I boot it up and play it.

that"S really cool.

i wonder if this can be combined with enb-mod to add ssao and a little more bloom.

for this to work at least dx9 is required i think.

dunno if epsxe emu is compatible with that

Those screens of the alleyway scene look brilliant with the higher resolution.

Yeah, I love the camera angels from that scene, a shame it doesn't go through that part on every playthrough.
