Harry Mason, a great father.

That guy? Yeah, I think he's awesome too, my dad is not my biological father and he took care of me like his own. So I know how cool that is.

For me Harry owns. He is a great father not only does he seem loving and supportive but as we see in the game he will literally go through anything to get his daughter back.

Harry is quite the dedicated father to go to such extreme lengths to save Cheryl. Truely remarkable. Putting his life at risk countless times to save another one's life, and not just his daughter either. Cybil and Lisa, he was a genuine person, caring for everyone, even if some people were agressive. *Looks at Kaufmann*

One thing that puts doubts in my mind was when...

Vincent called him a "pretty sneaky guy." Unless I missed or forgot something, I don't think he actualy says what he meant.

Which obviously leads to my doubts.

Maybe he's referring to

Harry's evasion of a cult for years. Or maybe it's a reference to how he got out of Silent Hill with his daughter while braving so many obstacles. Calling him a pretty sneaky guy could just reflect Vincent's low opinion but, as we know, Vincent isn't the best guy to trust.

Other than that, I think Harry is a great, dedicated father.

Harry is the greatest father in video games! :O And out of all the SH charcters i think he is the only sane one...

I almost cried when we found out he died in SH3, I have nevr doen that for a vide game charcter.

Heather was sane? Travis, I think he was pretty sane. Alex was pretty sane for the most part.

Murphy is also sane, he also says stuff like "we should get out of this town" etc., that puts him on a whole new level of sanity in SH series.

Heather seems to be one of the saner characters. Travis doesn't care. Alex is really fucking insane, it just looks like he isn't. Murph almost makes it out of town...

Just gonna say, it's characters like Harry Mason and my own old man (maybe even the Murphster) that, if I ever have children (a big "if") make me want to be a great dad.
