Konami actually announced three new games, including a remake of SH2. They also talked about a fourth game. An interactive series, or something? And a third movie is in early development.

The last game they showed, simply with a F in the title, is set in 60's era Japan, and you see that cherry blossom monster is actually a female. Hehe.

I thought the SH2 remake footage looked amazingly faithful to the original.

Yes, that's something finally! I will allow myself to be excited and see the whole showcase tomorrow - can't see it now.

Also, I have seen many remakes and attempts of to reborn some franchise... can't really trust Konami now, will wait for the final product to consider myself a "customer" again, in the lack of a better word.

The game that got rated in Korea wasn't there. However, Dusk Golem (who I now 100% trust) said other titles are being worked on by various indie developers.

The Japanese game is the one that has my interest the most. Although I prefer games that take place in the modern day era.

What if this ends up being an adventure game that is scary, with puzzles, and you cannot get confrontational? That's not my thing.

I hope I'm wrong.

Yes, now that we have seen it all, we can forget and wait for more solid news!

I was initially really excited when they revealed all of these games. I mean, at least they're finally doing something with the license after years of offering nothing but pachinkos and skateboards, and people submitting rumours online that did my head in.

But I am actually sceptical after looking up the devs Konami has hired. One did that God awful looking RE: Verse mode. Although that's the team working on the Japanese game, and it looks eye watering and good, sans the lack of gameplay in these clips. The other two other than the SH2 remake, I think are just supposed to be interactive story games, where instead of having an actual proper game in the style of the other games, you just pick answers to questions or situations that basically move the story ahead.

Nah. That's not my idea of playing a good game.
