Uh... This really doesn't excite me in the slightest. I feel like the industry is just content to whore out remakes, remasters, and all manner of bland crap. I mean, maybe it will look pretty and all. But what new game doesn't look impressive? What concerns me though, is will Capcom faithfully do it...

I don't think they have completed it yet. Although Google needs to stop showing outdated Yahoo! links, as this came up in my search, despite being from over a year back. No release date is known. In my opinion, both of The Evil Within games were fantastic and it is pretty sad knowing that there will probably never be a third game, much like a Days Gone sequel from Bend Studio is not in the cards either.

These games were not half-baked indie games. They had soul. Great gameplay. Etc.
